Might have to get creative on that end, but I think it can be done.

But even if we can't figure out how to get back to our times, maybe we could figure out how to get back to Earth. Or something. Off this planet, at least.

Earth would be very different from what we know. If these people could leave a zombie wasteland, wouldn't they?

Who knows? Maybe Bifrons is holding that info back too. I mean, they have the ability to take us from other worlds and times. That seems a whole lot harder than space-travel don't you think?

We can't really know anything right now. Which is a damn shame. But we'll figure something out.

I've been thinking that maybe some answers lay outside the Dome. Who knows what's hidden out there, forgotten because they've been trapped in here for so long?

It's a possibility. [He leans on his stick, looking at the table but not seeing it.] It's no joke out there. And I think most people in this dome who've never been there might not realize it. This dome is all well and good, but none of it changes the fact of what's out there. That there are those who actually live out there...I don't know what that means.

I think it means that some things we've been told are fundamental truths aren't.

I know it's not a joke, going out there. It's dangerous and who knows what's out there. But that's part of it too. What if we could find something? Something to help cure this disease or open up a way home? What if some part of an answer is lying out there, forgotten, because no one's bothered looking that far?

I think it's worth a shot, at least.

_{[ He shrugged. They were just his thoughts on it, but more and more he looked at the eggshell they lived in and wanted to see what was out there. Curiosity, and a true belief that remaining stagnant within the Dome wouldn't do any good for anyone. ]}

What? No. It's a legit sport here. I had my first race not that long ago - took third, and a nice chunk of prize money.

It's hard to see you as a slice of history, when I've seen almost every inch of you without clothes on. It ruins a little of the mystique.

[Yes, it's what he does for a living, here. Being told what to put on (or take off) and how to pose himself so he can help shill products. He's not necessarily embarrassed by it, not so easily, or he wouldn't be able to do it--but still, he looks away, running his tongue over his bottom lip.] Fair enough.

I really do think it's amazing, meeting someone from your time.

You guys - you were all something else. I mean, it took guts going into space like that, even with Vulcan help. It's pretty damn impressive.

I think the boomers would have a few choice words with you about the bravery of going out there, but--thank you. [His expression softens.]

I know it's nothing small, what we did. But it's still...hard to imagine being part of history, no matter how many times it's said in speeches. I'll be dead long before I'm put in any historical footnotes, I think.

Maybe. But you guys helped change a lot of things, helped open all these new possibiltles. So, it makes me glad that I got to meet you.

_{[ He looks to Malcolm, his smile soft, but sincere. It wasn't every day you got to meet someone of Malcolm's caliber and history, and for all Kirk wasn't the most serious of people, he could appreciate the opportunity for what it was. Even if he didn't remember it should he go home, he'd savor calling Malcolm his friend while he could. ]}

And you aren't half bad at pool either.
