[ It doesn't take that long for him to get to the house. He may or may not have memorized the most efficent ways of moving between the buildings. Most of his stuff is still there anyway- even so he does knock at the door instead of letting himself in. ]
[He's trying not to worry. But another him running around, like another York around, is not good. Not for either of them. There might be pacing as he waits that 15 minutes and is immediately at the door when the knock arrives.
[ He wants to reach out and touch- but that's not going to be okay by any streatch of imagination. He shuffles awkwardly for a second before sticking out a hand for a handshake.
[A handshake is...professional. But impersonal. There are new boundary lines to be drawn, and damn if he wasn't good at seeing where they were to begin with. He clasps York's hand but pulls him in for a brief hug, a clap on the back.]
I haven't touched your things, so everything should still be where you left them.
[ He probably tip his head down against Mal's hair and clings longer than he should. He doesn't really have a right but- knowing what he might have to do to the other Malcolm.

York tries to pull himself together and leans back, smile tight. ]
York. Don't bother with them. If they're still going to melt away--then leave them to their fate. If by some miracle they survive? Then we can figure out what to do after that.
Don't. [Whether he's reiterating the point not to bother or whether he means to not bring that up is unclear. He ushers York in and shuts the door, leaning against it heavily.]
It's only for a short while. We can't go around shooting all of them.
